A story about listening, courage, and second chances
Once upon a time, there was a man named Jonah.
Jonah was a good man.
Jonah loved God.
But Jonah had a little problem…
👉 He did not like to do hard things.
One day, God asked Jonah to do something very important.
It was a good mission.
A mission to help other people.
But Jonah thought:
“This is too hard.”
“I don’t want to do this now.”
“Maybe later…”
And do you know what Jonah did?
😮 Jonah tried to run away.
🚢 Running away from the mission
Jonah got on a boat and sailed far away.
He thought that if he went somewhere else, the problem would disappear.
But problems do not go away when we run from them…
Suddenly:
🌬️ Strong wind blew
🌊 The sea became wild
🚢 The boat started to shake
Jonah felt scared.
And then… something amazing happened!
🐋 The giant fish
A VERY big fish came and swallowed Jonah.
But don’t worry 😌
Jonah was not hurt.
Inside the fish, it was dark, quiet, and tight.
And there, Jonah started to think:
“Maybe I should have listened.”
“Maybe I need to be brave.”
Sometimes, when everything stops,
it is because we need to think and learn.
💛 A second chance
After some time, the fish took Jonah to the beach.
And plop! Jonah came out.
Now Jonah was ready.
Now Jonah was brave.
Now Jonah did what he was asked to do.
And do you know something very important?
✨ God gave Jonah a second chance.
🌟 What do we learn from Jonah?
This story teaches us that:
✅ Listening is important
✅ Being brave is better than running away
✅ Everyone makes mistakes
✅ We can always try again
When something feels hard,
it does not mean it is bad.
